Welcome to 2012

Great things are on the horizon for ISA.  Over the last few months, the ISA chief staff, Chris Dold and Vaughn Harrison have been very busy participating in some of the Worlds biggest races.  Vaughn spent the summer traveling through Europe, coaching Laser Radial and Finn sailors at Hyeres regatta in France, Delta Lloyd in Netherlands and Sail For Gold in England.  Most recently, Vaughn was doing some tune ups with several Canadian Radial sailors in Perth, Australia in preparation for the 2011 ISAF World Championships.  Chris is in search of Olympic honors, and is competing for the Canadian representation at London 2012.  For the last two years has been battling terrific injuries.  After going into surgery which put him out of racing for 5 months last January, Chris has made a huge rebound with his best ever Worlds results, 21st!  and is currently leading the Canadians in the Olympic trials.  This takes an enormous amount of perseverance and determination to meet these incredible goals.
