Rigging a piece of shock cord on your outhaul allows it to ease accurately and immediately to the setting you desire. It assists in the easing process. Its benefits are most noticeable when the sail has very little pressure – in light wind conditions. The best outhaul shock cord system has the cleanest run with no friction points on the boom and is the most responsive we’ve tried.
