There’s nothing better than one of ISA Chef Petra’s meals after a great day on the water. Here’s the recipe for ISA’s guacamole so you can enjoy a taste of Mexico at home. The watermelon is our special touch, it adds a great crunch and a unique taste.
1 red onion (finely chopped)
1 serrano pepper (finely chopped, seeds removed)
1 cup seedless watermelon, chopped (Petra’s secret ingredient!)
Juice from 1 lime (or to taste)
Handful of cilantro
Salt to taste
Mix in a large bowl and mush with a fork. Adjust salt and lime to taste. Serve with totopos or tostadas.
