Luke “Swifto” Elliott has trained under renowned Australian coaches Arthur Brett and 3× Olympic Gold Medal coach Michael Blackburn for over a decade. He was training partner to Olympic Gold Medalist Tom Burton and Olympic Gold Medalist Matt Wearn until he embarked on a full-time ILCA coaching career. To wear the Australian Sailing Team logo long-term is one of the toughest accomplishments in ILCA sailing. Swifto is a gifted and renowned coach with an impeccable record for improving sailor results and morale. ISA unites Swifto with aspiring ILCA sailors in the best conditions to further their progression over six days in Mexico and at select locations in the USA.
Paul has meshed his PhD in Learning Systems with 10 years of studying the best ILCA coaches and sailors in the world, synthesizing a custom program that produces some of the fastest progression we have seen. He advises ISA on instructional material and specializes in helping sailors understand, retain, and apply the technical changes that create race-winning speed.
Bill is a passionate student of the art and science of sailboat racing — and just as passionate about sharing those insights with ILCA sailors. A 6× Masters World Champion, he helps sailors bring their ILCA sailing to new heights through clear technique work, racing intelligence, and decades of championship experience.
